KPMG's Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing our clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and well-organised Dynamics D365BC/ NAV Functional consultant to be part of the consultancy services team.


  • Show expertise in any or several of the following functional areas:
    • Finance
    • Sales / Purchases
    • Warehouse Management & Inventory
    • Service Management
    • Manufacturing
    • Jobs
  • Delivery of end-to-end implementation projects including design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, post go-live support & reporting
  • Work with onsite engagement team & client team to gather requirements, determine expectations & finalise deliverables
  • Support the delivery team during design sessions, gather requirements, determine expectations & finalise deliverables
  • Support the delivery team to comprehend business problems, develop solutions & implement through in-platform configuration
  • Ensure quality project delivery of deliverables produced and demonstrate experience in system and functional testing
  • Demonstrate excellent foundational consulting skills, including analytical knowhow, written & verbal communication & team participation.
  • Involvement in pre-sales activities, delivery of estimation and client presentations

Skills and Qualifications

  • Possessing a degree in a business related subject.
  • 5 years’ relevant work experience and knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV.
  • LS Retailer implementation experience will be considered an asset.
  • Good financial awareness and business acumen.
  • Ability to liaise directly with clients at all levels and provide functional recommendations. Ability to run requirements and design workshops with clients and stakeholders.
  • Have experience in the full project life cycle, some project management experience would be considered an asset.
  • A self-starter, able to work independently and within a team and willing to take part in product installations.
  • Able to collect and analyse client requirements and document functional requirements to pass on to technical people and mentor colleagues into achieving client requirements using the shortest most effective methods.
  • Be able to work on multiple tasks effectively.
  • Have previous experience in providing client training on ERP systems.
  • As this role will also involve interaction with foreign clients a good command of spoken and written English is essential.
