Role Overview
KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager (C2) to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream programmes across the Microsoft technology portfolio. You will be responsible for shaping delivery approaches, establishing robust governance, and driving predictable outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and benefits.
The Senior Project Manager is a core member of KPMG customer delivery, accountable for planning and mobilisation, stakeholder management, RAID and dependency control, and the day-to-day leadership of blended onshore and offshore teams. You will work closely with programme leadership, solution and engineering leads, and client stakeholders to translate objectives into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables.
This role is an important element of KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ delivery capability. You will be supported with a combination of on-the-job learning and structured development, working with senior colleagues to deepen your delivery, commercial, and leadership skills. - Influences resource allocation across projects and supports programme‑level prioritisation.
- Oversees financial health of multiple projects and supports programme investment decisions.
- Drives adoption of best practices and supports continuous improvement across projects.

- Ensures project benefits align with programme strategy and are sustained post‑transition.

Experience and Background
- 7–10+ years leading complex, multi‑workstream projects or multiple concurrent projects.
- Extensive experience delivering high‑complexity, high‑visibility, or multi‑phase projects with significant organisational impact.
- Demonstrated ability to refine governance approaches and ensure consistent adoption across multiple projects.
- Experience leading large or distributed teams and influencing stakeholders across functions and departments.
- Shapes project delivery to support programme and organisational strategy; anticipates future delivery needs.
- Skilled in analysing performance trends, identifying root causes, and leading corrective action initiatives across projects.
- Advanced capability in forecasting emerging risks, managing complex risk profiles, and driving proactive mitigation.
- Experience overseeing financial performance across multiple projects and supporting programme‑level financial decisions.
- Ensures project benefits align with programme strategy and are sustained post‑transition.
- Advises on delivery models, risk profiles, and commercial considerations for complex engagements.
- Deep domain expertise with the ability to influence delivery standards and project approaches across the practice.
Skills and Qualifications
- A higher degree in business administration or a related field will be considered an asset.
- Experienced in Agile project management, ideally with direct experience and knowledge of tools including Azure DevOps, Jira, VSTS, TFS, and of methodologies including Scrum and Kanban;
- Ideally experience and specialism in ERP and / or CRM implementation projects, preferably utilising the Microsoft stack;
- Able to produce high quality and professional presentations;
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure documents are consistent in language, terminology and style;
- Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards;
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with tact and discretion;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
- Leads engagement with senior stakeholders and shapes project‑level governance discussions.
