The Role:
You will be responsible for leading rapid/agile development efforts to build and deliver world class ServiceNow based solutions. These solutions will take the form of both internally developed product innovations and client facing engagements.
You will collaborate with customer stakeholders, leading design workshops, acting as a point developer for rapid client PoVs, leading development teams on product development, and driving all aspects of implementation activities across the solution development lifecycle.
You will be responsible for analysing new business requirements and determining technical implementation approach using proven industry good practice methods. You will work collaboratively with client engagement leads, ServiceNow solution architects, connected service teams, project managers, business analysts, other developers, and testers to guide the design through to implementation and beyond whilst ensuring KPMG quality standards are adhered to.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical development stream of projects based on the ServiceNow platform
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other developers and nearshore/offshore development resources
- Delivery of compelling solution demonstrations across the ServiceNow platform
- Design and deliver technical integrations between ServiceNow, client platforms and business services.
- Assist the wider development team in resolving complex technical issues through all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Periodically working individually on client PoVs without day to day involvement of other team members
- Willingness to continuously grow knowledge of the ServiceNow platform through new certifications, attending internal/external webinars, case studies, training, community and other resources.
- Ability to establish deep and lasting relationships with clients and team members to enhance the reputation of KPMG as an advisor and partner of choice
- Active support in the presales opportunity lifecycle if necessary
- Build constructive, working relationships with KPMG’s global network of ServiceNow resources
- Contribute to the development of KPMG’s ServiceNow based product roadmap
- Interface with appointed ServiceNow solution architects to ensure our delivery team complies with KPMG solution architecture standards and frameworks
- Operate as a member of the wider KPMG community, sharing knowledge across functions and building your personal network within the firm
Requirements:
- Proven experience in consulting / professional services, technical delivery, and hands on ServiceNow development
- A proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on the ServiceNow platform on time and on budget as a Technical Consultant and Developer
- Experience in co-developing with offshore/nearshore development teams and working with engagement leads, project managers, solution architects and business analysts to deliver enterprise wide ServiceNow solutions
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
- Certified Implementation Specialist in at least 1 product suite
- Certified ServiceNow certified application developer
- Certified in ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)
- Strong expertise in developing on the ServiceNow platform using relevant development languages to design, build and configure: Service Portal/Now UI, Flows, Widgets, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Workspaces, etc.
- Deep understanding of the key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions including: Integration Hub & Spokes, Web Services (REST/SOAP), etc.
- Experience with delivering solutions in complex client environments
- Understanding of common business analysis techniques and approaches
- Experience with working in agile, hybrid, and traditional methodologies
- Able to communicate with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear to influence and align stakeholders around a proposed approachStrong negotiator, influencer and team player, used to managing multiple stakeholders in demanding time-critical situations
- Strong drive and resilience to overcome challenges or setbacks to achieve your team/project/client goals
- Passionate about areas of expertise, managing your own development by learning continuously from experience and seeking out development opportunities
