Role Overview

The Resource Supply Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective allocation, forecasting, and management of human resources to support the successful delivery of services. This role involves close collaboration with RMs in the SDCs, and service delivery stakeholders to ensure that resource availability aligns with demand needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Plans, forecast, and allocate resources demand to meet delivery timelines.
  • Monitor resource utilization, identify gaps, and recommend optimised assignments to balance demand and improve efficiency and cost base.
  • Work with stakeholders in the Development of and maintenance of a centralized resource database to track availability, skillsets, and allocation statuses.
  • Review Plans, forecast, and allocate resources demand to meet delivery timelines.
  • Monitor resource utilization, identify gaps, and recommend optimised assignments to balance demand and improve efficiency and cost base.Work with stakeholders in the Development of and maintenance of a centralized resource database to track availability, skillsets, and allocation statuses.Work closely with SDC RMs, demand leads.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on resource availability, allocation, and risks to key stakeholders.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalation related to resource conflicts or shortages.
  • Analyze historical and current resource utilization data to predict future demands and trends.
  • Generate and present resource allocation reports, highlighting risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve resource planning processes and align them with organizational objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in resource planning, workforce management, or a similar role within an IT environment
  • Proven experience in service delivery or IT project management is a strong advantage.
