KPMG's Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing our clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line. 

About the role

As a Quality and Compliance officer you will perform periodical reviews and subsequent follow-ups to ensure MBS business compliance with firm global and local quality and risk management policies, and to support MBS and the engagement teams to drive quality improvements across the practice which is fundamental to achieving our ambition to become the most trusted and trustworthy firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out periodical Quality and Compliance reviews for end-client engagements
  • Carry out periodical Compliance checks on Information Security Key controls
  • Track and follow-up to closure actions derived from Quality and Compliance reviews/checks
  • Assists the business on high level due diligence checks for the onboarding of local suppliers to assure compliance with quality and risk management requirements
  • Contribute towards the publishing of established Engagement Quality and Compliance KPIs 
  • Contribute towards identification of improvements derived from Quality and Compliance reviews
  • Seek feedback from colleagues from the engagement and support teams
  • Work in adherence with established quality and compliance review calendar
  • Good communication skills to assists new team members and colleagues on quality and compliance processes and approaches
  • Basic managerial skills to assess workload, prioritise, plan, monitor and report on quality and compliance review tasks 
  • Improvement focused mind to identify root cause of problems and propose ways to resolve 

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce university degree or equivalent majoring in Finance studies

• At least 3 years of experience on KYC due diligence best practices 

• Holding a Compliance Officer Certification is highly desirable

• At least 3 years of experience on risk and quality management processes 

• Attention to detail

• Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
