KPMG's Microsoft Business Solutions team is a Microsoft Gold Partner and leader in Microsoft software implementations for medium to large organisations, providing our clients with the ability to keep up with the ever-changing digital world by implementing Microsoft’s M365, Azure, Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Engagement (CE) software from the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) software line. 

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experience Telephony Architect to design and lead the implementation of modern voice communications solutions. You will drive migration from legacy systems to Microsoft CCaaS platform ensuring scalability, security, and business continuity.

Overall responsibility

  • Architect and implement enterprise telephony solutions (VoIP, SIP, UCaaS, CCaaS)
  • Design and implementation of the network infrastructure component of telephony/voice channel as part of a wider contact centre implementation
  • Solution design , estimation , documentation and test of voice/telephony implementations based on Microsoft Contact Centre
  • Lead migration from legacy PBX systems to Microsoft CCaaS and Teams
  • Develop and maintain telephony architecture documentations and standards and contribute and lead in our CCaaS CoE.
  • Train and assist our Microsoft Architects for Dynamics 365 CCaaS lead opportunities and contact centre transformations.

Experience

  • Design and implementation of on-premise to cloud based telephony migration/update (for example Genesys Pure Connect to Genesys Cloud )
  • Expertise with VoIP protocols, SIP trunking, SBCs, UCaaS and CCaaS platforms
  • String networking knowledge (QoS, VLANs, security best practices).
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft, Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, Nice or similar contact centre technologies
  • Estimation and solution design for new implementations of new cloud-based telephony/voice systems
  • Networking analysis and suitability assessments for capability and reliability suitability for new cloud telephony systems
  • Can demonstrate experience in the design, implementation, support of a 24x7, contact centre telephony platform
  • Design and implementation of Direct routing of existing PSTN carrier to cloud telephony
  • Consulting with customers network engineers to design the optimum network connectivity
  • Resilience and high availability architectures
  • Troubleshooting connectivity and configuration issues
  • Ideally will have experience in using Azure Communication services for voice and SMS
